Dog Organic Food: Healthy Treat For Dogs
15 Mar 2010
If you are a dog owner and want your dog to be healthy and strong, consider providing it with organic nutrition. I did so and as a result my dog Bettie is now healthy and vigorous.
My dog Bettie used to catch colds very easily. She always suffered from allergies and whenever she got ill it took a great deal of time to recover. I was very anxious about my dog’s health and I had no idea what to do until my friend recommended me to take her to the vet. After examining my dog, the vet recommended to consider dog organic food, which has no chemical additives, toxic pesticides, flavor enhancers and artificial colors that can cause allergies.
So I decided to include real food into my dog’s daily diet. Now she eats grains like oats, and good-quality turkey, beef, and chicken. He warned me that if I decide to feed her fish, it should be cooked well since raw fish could potentially cause loss of appetite, weakness and abnormal posture.
The vet was adamant about my dog having to avoid consuming things like onions, garlic, raw eggs, caffeinated beverages like coffee or tea, and alcohol. He said that milk and dairy products should be given in moderation since overconsumption might cause diarrhea. He also forbade me from giving Bettie chocolate since it is extremely harmful to dogs.
Dog organic food helped to boosts my dog’s immunity. Now my Bettie is able to resist skin infections and allergies. She catches fewer colds, suffers from fewer allergies, and recovers faster from illnesses.
