Taming horses, especially mustang horses, is a rather difficult job that needs much effort. However, many people are fond of these animals, as they become irreplaceable friends over time.

Mustang horses were firstly brought to North America by the Spanish and are also called wild horses or ferry horses. Mustang horses roam free in herds and protect themselves from wolves, coyotes and other predators. However, these horses may as well become great domestic horses if tamed right.

Another basic component in mustang horse care is to have its hair cut every now and then. Always keep its hair short, especially in warm seasons. It’s essential for the animal’s hygiene. In winter don’t cut it too short so it won’t catch cold.
In order to keep a mustang horse you should be armed with great patience and care. When treated well these horses make great friends with their owners. Like all other pets they need love and attention.
